Besides Palawan of Philippines, Victoria BC is also one of my favorite places, that I’d love to comeback to visit it one day in the future.
If you ever go to Victoria BC, Canada, there are a few places you should visit: BC Parliament Buildings, Butchart Garden and Royal BC Museum.
While visiting Victoria, I had been seeing flowers everywhere; I was so impressed because they even put flowers on top of the trash bins.
The BC Parliament buildings are the current home of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia and house many significant government artifacts. You can join a free public tour or explore the building on your own self-guided tour.
The Butchart Garden is a National Historic Site of Canada, which is one of the world famous.
If you love flowers, this place is heavenly. There really aren’t words to describe its beauty. It is a magical, and fairy land for flower lovers. There are beautiful landscapes and colorful gardens make you want to stay and look at them for hours.
Although I haven’t visited Butchart Gardens since 2001, I still remember the excitements that I had had at that time. We had come in early morning and stayed until closing.
The garden is lovely in daylight and dark. The evening lighting and entertainments were spectacular. It’s very lovely gardens with plenty of seats to allow you sitting and enjoy the views. Everything is blooming, each section of the area is looking magnificent, and you could easily sit and stare into the Sunken Garden for hours. The Sunken Garden is stupendous, and the Ross Fountain is striking and pleasant.
Is it worth to visit Royal BC Museum while you are in Victoria BC?
The Royal BC Museum is one of the Canada’s greatest cultural treasures. This is the wonderful museum in Victoria with a lots of local history, and a lots of history about BC as well as amazing visiting exhibitions.
The First Nations Exhibit upstairs was what I found most interesting; hence, it’s worth every minute and every penny!
I think this is a favorite place for adults and children. Therefore, it is definitely worth visiting.
